| 1. The Pratheep-Dek-Thai project for Thai children is
designed to support impoverished pre-school children, 3-6 years of
age, with a facility where they can receive nutrition, instruction
in social values and morals and have the opportunity to learn in a
safe and caring environment. Facilities are constructed in both rural
and urban centers. The child development centers provide needy children
with the "light of education" at an early age, which is
critical for the children's overall development. |
